St Luke's Live Streaming Internet Ministry Project

On Tuesday I traveled to Phoenix and visited EAR Professional Audio.  I spent an hour or so talking with John Gibson, who's very knowledgeable about web streaming and all of its intricacies.  He is now in the process of designing a system which will accomplish what we want to do. After having spent time with Mr. Gibson, it is a good assumption that we will have our web streaming "up and running" by the end of January.

As soon as all of the hardware (i.e., video camera, microphones, et al) are installed, we will begin to stream the Sunday morning eight o'clock  Mass, and will  "extract" the sermon from the stream after it have played "live" and post it each week on our YouTube site.  The process of extraction is still being worked on; however, the sermons should be posted on the net in a matter of a few days - the following Monday or Tuesday, at the very latest.

We will also - God willing - begin streaming our Jazz at the Church concert series live, with the first concert being the January 30th Jam Session with the Steve Sandner Quartet as the "house band!"

Please keep this unique ministry in your prayers.  Countless folk who cannot attend a traditional Anglican/Episcopal Church - either because they are housebound or live too many miles from a 1928 Book of Common Prayer parish - will be reached through this new, unique and much-needed web ministry.
